Improving China's food equipment manufacturing industry is essential for intelligent robots

2017-12-18

At the NPC and CPPCC two sessions this year, when talking about the transformation of the industrial structure, the government work report stressed the need to implement "Made in China 2025" and speed up the transition from a manufacturing country to a manufacturing country. Therefore, "China's manufacturing industry development framework (2015-2025)" so much attention. In this known as the "Chinese version of Industry 4.0 Planning", the robot occupies an important position. Insiders said that with the popularization of robots in the industrial field, it will greatly enhance the level of automation and intelligence in China's industrial manufacturing and become the "crowning touch" for enhancing the competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing.

An intelligent robot is a machine system that fully simulates people in terms of perception-thinking-effects. It can comprehensively examine the technology in all fields of artificial intelligence and study the mutual relations. Intelligent robots should have three abilities: the ability to perceive the environment, the ability to perform certain tasks to influence the environment, and the ability to associate perception with behavior.

With the expansion of applications of intelligent robots, the task to be completed by intelligent robots becomes more and more complicated. The manual analysis of the behavior of intelligent robots becomes more and more difficult. As an intelligent robot, it is necessary to be able to fuse the information obtained by the sensors and adapt to a changing environment effectively, with strong self-adaptability, learning ability and autonomous function. Currently developed intelligent robot intelligence is not high, can only say that the initial stage of intelligent robots. The core issues, one is how to improve the autonomy of intelligent robots, with a more friendly man-machine interface; the second is to improve the ability of intelligent robots to adapt to environmental changes.

With the continuous development of the field of robotics, the concept of robot is slowly expanding. At present, some people in China have some limitations on their understanding of robots, and even stay at the level of robotic arms and humanoid robots. In fact, industrial robots, mobile robots, bionic robots, medical robots, space robots, etc. are all covered in the category of robots. The unmanned aerial vehicles that have enjoyed a very strong momentum of development abroad in recent years should also be included in the concept of robotics.

There is a certain gap between the robotics market in China and the developed countries such as the United States, Japan and Germany. Some countries in the United States, Japan and Europe have different focuses on robot research. The intelligent robot technology in the United States has been a leader in the world. Its technology is comprehensive, advanced and adaptable. Its artificial intelligence technology such as vision and touch has been widely used in aerospace and automobile industries. In addition to the United States to develop industrial robots, but also to serve the military robots.

Japan Due to a series of support policies, the development of various types of robots including intelligent robots has been rapidly developed. European countries are also at an advanced level in the research and application of intelligent robots. China started later than the developed countries. Although China has carried out a series of related research and development work in recent years, universities and some research institutes have made active attempts to develop intelligent robots under the promotion of the 973,863 projects of the country and have entered a period of vigorous development of robots. However, at present, The robot that really can realize the industrialization has not yet.

The industry believes that to truly enhance our own strength and narrow the gap with developed countries, we should base ourselves on the domestic market, tap domestic demand and develop robots with their own characteristics. At present, the R & D strength in China is still relatively scattered. R & D mainly relies on the promotion of national projects, and lacks the real powerful enterprises to integrate all aspects of power. Department of Automation Tsinghua University point of view, mainly engaged in control research, there is no ability to complete the machine R & D work. Market-oriented, the use of "production and research" a combination of ways, it is possible to fundamentally promote the development of robots made great progress.
